Ok, many of us have be innundated with IM's from Jabroni AKA Aparoch. Since he can no longer troll our fine community, he makes us of the AOL IM link. So, just state your opinion here.

I had him unblocked for the longest, but after my last exchange I no longer wanted to deal with him.

 

I have to work with 12 and 13 year olds every day at work; I don't need to deal with someone who acts like them when I'm at home.

what is the point/benefit of IM?

 

I've seen it when using somebody else's AOL and don't understand why people would want it. It seems to be only slightly less annoying than those stupid walkie-talkie phones that allow people to pester you non-stop.

IM is useful when your family/friends live hundreds of miles away and you spend a lot of time at the computer. Also, my wife travels for work, so I can chat with her during the week "incognito", whereas a telephone call would be frowned upon by her employers.

 

As for Jabroni, I think he was before my time. Never had the good fortune to "experience" him before he was baninated
