Fantasy Football Sleepers

Since the football season is nearly a quarter old now, I think it would be interesting to think of who our best sleepers (players we picked up in later rounds or via waivers/free agents who have contributed to our teams) are. I have two main ones. I drafted Eli Manning in the 10th round (16 team league), and he has replaced my second round pick, Brett Favre, as my starting quarterback. And I picked up Stephen Davis as a free agent after nobody drafted him (nobody in my league, myself included, really thought he'd come back this year).

LJ Smith. He's in the latter of the TE's taken and he's producing elite TE like numbers thus far.

 

Better than Gonzalez, Gates, Shockey, Heap, and Witten.

Willie Parker baby! (although he wasn't really that big of a sleeper)

Joe Jurevious & Travis Taylor have been pretty good #3 recievers in deep leagues.

Willy Parker. Picked him up via FA, and dropped Kevin Faulk.

He is number 2 in my ESPN league, right behing Shockey. Definately a good guy to have.

As a Tony Gonzalez owner, I sympatize greatly with those who wasted a high pick on him. What a dud so far.

OK I'm kidding mostly, but I know that at least half of my 10 team league scoffed at me for drafting him in the middle of the third round when he was at odds with McNabb and suspended from training camp by the Eagles. Needless to say, I'm fairly happy with what he's given me so far.
