TOP OF THE NINTH INNING

 

Lidge in to pitch (5th), Gipson in left field (9th) for Houston

Murton singled to left field

Burnitz singled to right field, Murton to third

Barrett doubled to left field, Murton scored, Burnitz to third

Patterson grounded into a FC, 3-2, Burnitz out at home, Barrett to third

Walker, pinch hitting for Novoa, singled to right field, Barrett scored, Patterson to second, Cedeno in to pinch run

Theriot popped out (infield fly rule) to first base

Perez grounded out to short, 6-3

 

2 runs, 4 hits, 0 errors, 2 men left on base
