Using God in anything that is nationally recognized is ridiculous.

Don't force your thoughts on me, and I wont force mine on you. (Which, by the way, I don't)

On, but we know that Jesus loves America. (A country that, of course, wasn't around back in the good 'ol days of big J)

We never do "force, we offer, but it is your choice, but we are still a country where the majority has the final say....or at least it use to be.

so christianity has never been forced on anyone?

ZING! :P

If the majority had the final say, we'd still be a slave-holding nation.

the feds have done a surprisingly good job at protecting minorities. The death of the christian religion in coinage and schools will be another step in that.

So the theory of evolution has not been forced on students in school? Say what you want about the evidence supporting it and what have you, but the fact remains that there are plenty of people that do not believe in evolution that have it thrown at them every day in school/college.

There will always be things forced on others... that'll never change.

They force the theory of gravity on kids at school, too. What a shame.

This type of crap comes up everytime a majorly bad event or election happens. These bastards are writing a new chapter to The Prince.

I wish we could take credit ... but this one was handed down from one of the most liberal courts in the land. Y'all should have milked Katrina for a while longer before unleashing that decision.

Well when it's 'forced' on those kids at school, they can whistle and look the other way. :P

Nope, Christ has never forced himself on anyone, man in his warped ways have tried, but not Christ.

Just again to let you guys know, No one and I mean no one can be force to say the pledge, but they can be asked to stand because this is a school activity. the Jehovia witnesses sued back in the 20's (before "God" ) was added and won.
