Dempster in to pitch (7th), Patterson in cf, Hairston from cf to lf for the CUBS

A Perez, pinch hitting for Dressens, flied out to left field

Edwards flied out to right field

Navarro doubled to right center field

Cruz singled to right field, Navarro to third

Saenz, pinch hitting for Choi, flied out to left field

LOL! On another night the game would have been tied. Whew, we dodged a bullet. :wink:

 

Dempster just has to make it as interesting as possilbe. He knew with the wind blowing in, he could get away with making that pitch. :wink: :P

Wow. The only word that come to mind are:

 

"What could have been"

 

 

Cedeno and Murton were amazing, as was the rest of the Cubs lineup. I mean, everyone was hitting well and playing good D. This is incredible. It's worth watching these games just to see Cedeno and Murton play.

cedeno (sees a ton of pitches) (stolen base, legged out infield hit)

murton (consistently ahead of the count) (stolen base, broke up double play....em her, no not perez who has grounded into 19 of them).

 

 

Crap. It's just a coincidence. They don't have the book on them yet.

My internet was down yesterday, but I watched the game and was I hallucinating or did the cubs... acutally... squeeze.
