There was meant to be a whole lot of sarcasm in my post about Dusty making good moves to impress the Dodgers. I am fully aware that he isn't capable of making good moves? I just wasn't sure which emotion was the sarcasm one. I'm still new here.

Just stick a ";)" or a ":P" and most folks will know you're being sarcastic. Or make a lot of posts like Treebeard, and no one will ever take you seriously.

Anyways, welcome to the board!

Thanks for the welcoming and the help with the emoticons.

I'm sure this topic was spoken to earlier in the year, but what was the consensus around here about why Dusty never tried playing Hairston in left when we were struggling so bad at that spot early in the season? Other than Dusty was asleep in the dugout and never thought of that idea.

Wow, LA has some sucktacular lineups tonight! Ricky Ledee (of the .673 OPS) batting clean up? Jee-Zus!

Are you freakin serious?? I just checked in...and its bad enough that we're getting beat 8-1...but we're getting beat 8-1 with Holly and Perez in the line up? We are SOO freaking out of it...what in the sam #$%% do you gain by playing Perez and Holly...I'll give Dusty one thing...he sure does make it a lot easier to not give a damn.

It woulda been nice for Dusty to start Hairston or Dubois when Hollandsworth was struggling. And Hairston when Dubois got the starting job and struggled. Holla just was one of Dusty's guys.

No more walks, plz.

the ESPN announcers are talking like Nomar is gone at the end of this season. man, he can swing the bat.

i wish we had a place to put him. ARam at 3B and Cedeno at SS leaves no room for a often hurt nomar.

I doubt Ronnie will be starting much next year.

And Lyons is insisting the Chicago Fire occured in the early 1900s.

Ugh, just saw the lineup. I could see maybe starting some journeymen to showcase them for a trade, but they have to have some market value or it's goofy to play them at all. At this point I'm sure Holla's trade value is close to zero, and a few good games won't change that.
