Tonight's game will feature SportsCenter's 50 States in 50 Days as they will be at Wrigley Field for the Chicago leg of their trip. I will also be at tonight's game. :) Should be fun!!

Cubs' record at home: 30-30.

 

That's all you need to know about their season. There's no reason they shouldn't be 5-10 games over .500 at home at this point in the season. It's even more inexcusable when you realize they sell out nearly every single home date.

 

If memory serves, that's one of the five worst home records in the league.

 

If you can't bring your A game when you're at home, you have no business even playing the game. Go sell insurance or something.

Why not bat Zambrano 8th ? I'm not kidding. Corey is having difficulty, to put it mildly, driving in runs (16 LOB in Colorado) and even if he gets on base Zambrano will be bunting thus negating the speed element. With Patterson hitting 9th, if he gets on he'll have a better chance to use his speed with two patient hitters at the top.
