Cliff Note Version of the Last 5 Days Needed...

Ok, I watched very little TV and had absolutely no Internet access over the past 5 and a half days, so I need a quick overview of what I missed. I don't have time to read everything...so just one sentence fill ins would be helpful.

 

What I do know:

 

1. Cubs sucked donkeys against Arizona.

2. USA Today reported some rumor about Dusty wanting to manage in LA. Any truth to that and can we make it happen tomorrow instead of later?

3. We got Lawton for Gerut. (I actually got this bit of information from Phil Rogers as I watched him leave the HOF inductions. I recognized him and asked what trades went down and he talked to me for a minute. I also got to speak for a minute with Crasnik too.)

4. I also know about the interview with Nomar.

 

So, what else did I miss besides countless threads in transactions about bogus trades and all?

I hope I made everyone proud. It's amazing how nervous you get when they tell you that you're next. You know the camera is rolling and you're standing a few feet away from a player that you idolized.
