Aramis really helped us out of a jam there, after Burnitz decided to do his best Alou impression.

Can't believe I'm saying this...but...with a lead...and Rammy limping like that...should we bring in a pinch runner...to try and score(ok...so we won't score)...and to also keep from hurting Rammy more?

First up Burnitz got caught at first thinking the runners at second and third were running on a wild pitch. They didn't, he couldn't get back, and he got tagged.

Then A-Ram hit a single on the ground to left, scoring both Lawton and Lee.

Yes. I know the world will have done the same thing, too, but here's my take.

Bottom of the order (inc. PH) up in the 8th. Zambrano at 92 pitches. It's hot. Any chance Dusty pulls Zambrano? I'm calling for a reliever. I'll take Novoa if you make me.

Urbina threw a wild pitch, but it bounced right back to Leiberthal and no one could advance. However, Burnitz was running to 2nd, and was picked off 1st trying to get back.

Ramirez then hit a single scoring two runs. Walker followed it up with another single (Burnitz's mental error *did* cost us a run). Neifi whiffed. Schocked, I know.

Z's got that dark skin, so he's better in the heat than a white boy.

Moore- not with Neifi "I suck donkeyballs" Perez up.

Yeah...it was more just to ensure that A-Ram didn't hurt himself...that is the absolute LAST thing we need.

Thanks. The several post on grandslams and DPs was confusing.

Neifi Perez= Rey Ordonez.

Good glove, no hits, shouldn't be on an MLB roster, both were hit 2nd in the lineup by Dusty Baker.

LOL@ Rey Ordonez

I bet Dusty sends him out for the 9th if Z has a good inning here.
