Bases loaded for the Mets and the Brewer pitcher walks in the winning run. Pathetic.

Mike Lamb just went deep for the Astros. They're winning 3-1 now in the top of the 8th.

Stupid Clemens. Why did he have to come back? What does he have left to prove?

Retire already.

Why couldn't he have been an Illinois native who had really wanted to finish his career a Cub?

Clemens out of the game in the 8th after pitching another frickin' gem. D'backs pretty much have to score this inning with Lidge lurking, waiting for the 9th.

Luis flies out to end the inning.

To DEEP left, according to Yahoo.

Just missed it. Caught on the run a step from the wall. :x

Valverde is absolutely dominant for the D'backs. I don't understand why he isn't their closer. He killed us this past weekend, and he just made the Astros look foolish.

edit: Nevermind. Gracey just said he was struggling with some arm injuries early in the year.

To the bottom of the 9th and it's Lidge time. I'm not too confident. :x

J Rod just got hit in the hand in the Cards/Marlins game. Larussa is going crazy because it's the 2nd Card to get hit up and in today. He's barking at all the Marlins players. He got right in the face of Lo Duca. Now he's yelling at the umpire. Quite amusing. :D

should we start a pool to pick which Cardinals pitcher will hit a Marlin with obvious intent, admit he threw at the Marlin with intent, and not get suspended?

and who ever heard of a manager getting up an a players face? doesn't that warrant an ejection?

morris is starting tomorrow, so he'll just try to throw at the batter and he'll throw it 5 feet behind him ;)

God, I wish LoDuca had dropped that sanctimonious sack of crap right there. I would have taken up a collection to help pay the fine.

Anybody else ever notice that's the Cardinals, who would NEVER throw at anyone without cause because they play the game the RIGHT way and their manager is a GENIUS (just ask him), are always involved in these beanball wars?
