Gave up 9 earned in 4.2 innings today...wow, granted it was at Colorado. Are we glad we didn't keep him? His stats going into today I think were at 4.60 ERA with 82 k's in 132 innings and a whip of 1.32. He's had some good outings lately and is avg. 6 innings/start.....what do you think?

To me Lieber is like Maddux--usually good control, gives up a lot of hits, but can escape many of those with the DP because of the ability to get a ground ball. But when they arent getting those DP's, the floodgates open. Neither are huge K guys either. I loved Lieber as a Cub and have always rooted for him since but I am not sure I would want him back at this point.
