How long is he under contract? I don't see how you can say he won't help them in the future. The Brewers will be having a huge influx of young talent coming up on both offense and pitching, and they'll need a veteran like Lee to anchor the offense and be a leader.

I wouldn't say no way, it will just take more than its worth.

 

 

The Brewers know that Carlos Lee is special to their team, he is the only legitimate power threat in the offense, which was the main reason of getting him. Now, could they be talked out of him? Of course, but like I said, it would be way to much. I would rather try for Floyd or Huff, and not Lee, although he would definitely be a boost to the offense.
