I don't know if I really want the Marlins to win this series. The Nats are falling back to Earth, but the last thing the Cubs want is for the Marlins to heat up.

I agree that the Astros are our number one worry, but we should still root against the teams that are ahead of/close behind us.

It should be bad news if the Braves are losing. I want them to win the NL East, so we won't have to overtake them and the Nats for the Wild Card.

In truth, I want the Braves to win the East as well but I dont want them to be cocky about it! They just got off a series where they swept the Nats ; this after Andruw Jones brazenly stated, before the series, that the Braves would not lose a game to Washington at home. They have to be pretty confident right now. Frankly, I dont want any one team (outside of the Cubs) getting too confident.

As will I. I was listening to the Angels (I have a bet on) @ the Yankees, switch for the last out of the Braves win and am now on to the Marlins vs. the Nationals.

 

I stand to win a HUGE £4.49 if the Marlins come through.
