The Peoria Journal Star reports that the Chicago Cubs have told the Chiefs that Nomar could suit up for Peoria games Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. If Garciaparra plays Sunday in Arizona without any setbacks, Peoria is expected to be his next stop. The Chiefs play 7 p.m. games against Dayton Monday through Thursday. The Chiefs hope to break their single-game atendance record of 8,854, set on May 26, 2002.
