Speaking of heat index, one of the Tennessee Smokies left the game because of dehydration.

David Aardsma was in for the a scoreless 6th, he peaked at 93 mph (he has been clocked in the mid 90s at Jackson this year).

Ryan Theriot with a hustle triple!! Casey McGehee with a line sac fly. DJaxx up 3-2.

WT holds on and wins game one 3-2.

In game 2, here in the the 3rd, Luis Montanez commited his first error of the season (between Peoria and West Tenn) while trying to field a single. No matter, Baez pitches around it and it's 0-0 midway through the 3rd.

Sisk scores on a safety squeeze FC from Bacon (after being looked back to third), Reyes tried to advance to third because no one was there, but someone got there in time to tag him out. 1-0 WT after 3. Edited by CaliforniaRaisin

Dang, DJaxx, you're miles ahead of me. Victor Ramos just threw his first pitch of the game.

Andy LaRoche hit his 6th HR of the year at AA - that's 27 overall between Vero Beach and Jacksonville.

Baez hit for himself and then got taken out of the game? :-s

Is Dusty Baker in Jackson?

Vince Coleman is, as well as Oneri.

I looked over my super duper press notes and all I could find is that Baez has had 4 ABs with 1 sacrifice.

FWIW Bacon (as of yesterday) was a .206 hitter with RISP (6 RBI in 34 AB)

Yeah, I'm not at home!

LaRoche is definitely going wild.

Has Ron commented on Craig not playing in either game today?

Not as far as I can tell, but I did just doze off for a few minutes.

Ron was raving about Guzman again. :) Also, Oneri in the pregame show touched on how he doesn't like moving guys up unless there's a need and having them go step by step (talking about guys like Moore, Gallagher and EPatt?).

I know I've used this quote several times, but Hendry said that the decision on EPatt is solely up to Oneri.
