argh!!! neifi. another worthless AB from my favorite SS.

 

So when is Nomar projected to return?

 

hahaha, not soon enough. is there anyone besides Dusty that likes Neifi as the everyday SS?

I can't believe we finally have a decent third baseman.

 

I can't believe some folks on this board were questioning his ability earlier in the year.

 

I was questioning him since he had one more year before he could hit true FA, but he has been absolutely amazing since May. His OPS is approaching .950 (might actually be there since I haven't calculated it, but he came into tonight's game at .936) and 2 HR's, a double, and a walk will certainly help that :D

 

I'm unspeakably glad I was wrong.

Makes you wonder what could have happened if he had been the closer for the games that Hawkins blew.
