A couple more like that and you'll see a trade for Wagner happen sooner rather than later.

I don't know if anyone is paying attention to the Dodgers/Giants game but Brad Penny got tossed for throwing his helmet after arguing a call at first. I think the last few seasons the umpire situation is getting out of hand. I mean the guy tossed his helmet so fine him but don't toss him in the second inning.

Something needs to be done about the "aggressive" umpires. I see quite a few umps following players to the dugout when they argue a call. Isn't an umpire supposed to enfore the rules not instigate things? It seems that the umpires almost have thier own agenda.

If my gameday is correct, Rich Harden is having a perfect game thru six innings for the A's, aganist the Rangers.

And he's only thrown 52 pitches.

Man, the 6th inning is taking a long time.

Now Nix, the CF for the Rangers gets hurt after making a catch. Causing even more delay.

Looks like the Rangers are trying to freeze his arm.

I don't think they're trying to freeze him. They've had a pitcher and CF hurt. It didn't look like either were faking it.

oh man, I thought that his perfect game was going in the tank there when Rapuano gave him ball 3 for going to the mouth...

Ah, well I'm just only seeing it on gameday, so I'm just assuming, that is all.

What was up with him going to the mouth, doesn't pretty much every pitcher do that??

It didn't look like much from the replay. Maybe you have to be off the mound to do it? I don't know, but if he had lost the perfect game because the ump added ball 3, you would have seen a huge controversy.

five outs to go...

Also keep an eye out on ESPN. They might cut off from normal programming and broadcast that.

Right now, they're broadcasting for Raffy's 3000th hit.
