Rob Neyer wrote a (somewhat) interesting premium article about the top 10 power hitting sluggers in the game today, using factors such as home park, and AB/HR. I'll post the premium link below, but this is his final list:

 

1. Albert Pujols

2. Adam Dunn

3. Andruw Jones

4. Derrek Lee

5. Alex Rodriguez

6. Mark Teixeira

7. Troy Glaus

8. Aramis Ramirez

9. Travis Hafner

10. David Ortiz

 

Two Cubbies in the top ten. Good to see both guys getting respect as a power hitter across baseball.

not sure how any list of the best power hitting sluggers can be put together and not include Manny Ramirez, but have Jones #3, unless its based on this year only.

Hiting a homerun in the derby is significantly different than in a real game. I know from experience.... oh wait no I don't. Trust me they are different.

It's clearly based on this year, since Bonds isn't anywhere on the list.
