Yep, I'm leaving early tomorrow morning! My first stop is in Boston, then it's a short stop off in New Haven, followed by staying with my sister and brother in law in NYC for a few days. Then after that, we're going to Philly for a short stay, then Ann Arbor as the last stop on the trip.

I'm bringing my laptop with me and should have internet access at the very least in Boston and NYC. However, I will probably only be on minimally to check in on some things.

I'll be back home likely in little over a week (probably a week from Tuesday). Until then, BOCF is in charge of these threads.

You kids be good! :P

Hey Ron, did you get my e-mail about the auction for broadcasting with you?

9-2 Peoria Chiefs so far.

Ryan Harvey with a HR (13) and single and 5 RBIs in 5 innings.

Fuld so far 1-1 with 2 BBs, 3 Rs and an RBI. :)

5 RBIs? That's not too shabby.

The Diamond Jaxx head into the break with a 2-1 loss. Craig's solo HR was their lone score.

11-5 Chiefs top of 7th, but runners at 2nd & 3rd for the Rattlers with no outs. And Baliva thinks the double by Chen should have been ruled a home run.

Estrada goes 6 complete, but sounds like he hit a wall in the 7th. Blevins now pitching.

Eek, 11-7 on a single ... still no one out in the 7th.

Mention of a horrific 17-inning game vs Ft Wayne last year ... maybe that will make the worst road trip story ...

11-8 Chiefs, top of the 8th

The Rattlers have runners on 1st & 2nd with one out.

The recent scoring trend is troubling.

ARGH! bases loaded!

The Chiefs bullpen has a tough time maintaining leads. =;

They've had some bullpen issues.

Chiefs lose 12-11 in 10.

They did apparently lead 11-2 at one point, but the Rattlers scored 10 unanswered runs.

E-Patt went 1-3 with a sac fly, and most importantly (in my mind) 2 BB with 0 K. He's struck out almost once a game, which is not good for a guy with only marginal power, but he has 35 BB in 70 games, which is a solid walk rate. OBP is around .415... definitely solid.

Neither Patterson nor Dubois played for the Mesa Cubs today.
I didn't get the impression they were actually going to play for Mesa. My understanding is that they are just in Mesa to work on hitting until the Iowa season resumes after the All-Star break.
