Name me a Cub who isn't (other than Lee this season). It seems like we've got an extremely streaky team this year...both in terms of personal performance, and in the standings.

I'd say Ramirez isn't really that streaky. He had a bad start this year, but he isn't "streaky". I don't think Todd Walker is "streaky" either. Hairston seems pretty consistent as well.

Two things happened:

 

(1) We got some different people - rookies even! :shock: - into the mix.

(2) Hairston and Walker are actually at the top of the batting order. Amazing.

I'm not sure whether Corey's coming back, unless he really gets on a tear in AAA. And even at that, he may be brought up just long enough for trade bait. Let's see, is anyone in the market for a poor man's Mike Cameron?
