I particularly like this Dusty quote after tonights game

 

"That's the difference," manager Dusty Baker said. "We're getting hits. But we're not getting them with runners on base"

 

 

Perhaps using players who get on base might help.

 

Or aligning the lineup such that you have hitters who are successful w/runners on or in SP get the bulk of the chances. Not, Jose Macias with the bases loaded and then come bitch to the media that your team isn't hitting w/runners on. What a shocker! Macias is .167/2 rbi in 18 chances with RISP.

 

I'd rather have Don Baylor. I'm not kidding.
