Agree with the sentiments here, but now what are we going to do about Piazza behind the plate? Big liability!

Piazza starting makes me sick. My mom just had hip replacement and could steal 2nd base on Piazza.

Haha, Albert Pujols won't be starting.

Only two 1B, so Pujols will play the ladder half of the game.

Why is that so funny? Any Cubs fan who is an actual baseball fan would not view it as a laughing matter.

P.S. A ladder is something you climb on. Moron.

Quoting before the b&

Am I in before the ban?

What the hell is your problem? I used the wrong term, BFD.

And its Moran. You should listen to the redneck Cardinal fan: http://www.sponbustion.com/images/0402/morans01.jpg

The"fans" voted in Lee. The "fans" voted in Rolen. Now that this issue is finally cleared up, let's have a beer.

The fans did vote for both however, Lee also received the overwhelming support of the player vote. Unlike Rolen, Aramis Ramirez was voted in by his peers who respect the job he has done this year. Rolen is probably embarrassed to start and no doubt Piazza is as well.

Congrats to Lee-that was definitely deserved, and I'm glad that he was voted in.

Now as for 3rd base, as much as I like Rolen, the 3rd basemen for the all star game should be Morgan Ensberg (starter) and Aramis Ramirez (backup)

Ensberg should definately be there.

Ensberg should be there, but his numbers are clearly skewed by MMP, as they were in 2003 and 2004. Over the past three years, his OPS has been nearly .300 lower on the road, which is a huge gap. It has been better this year, but still nearly two hundred points. This is much more than the average player batting a bit better at home.

Like I said, Ensberg deseves to go, but Ramirez (who is hitting better on the road, for the record) is better.
