It wouldn't surprise me to see both in the same game.

Zambrano said last week in Pittsburgh he would curtail his batting practice because of the injury, but he hasn't followed through on his promise. So why not stop swinging?

 

"I need to," Zambrano said. "I try to help my team when I can."

 

The switch-hitting Zambrano is hitting .318 in 22 at-bats, including .357 batting left-handed (5-for-14).

Hitting for the cycle's tough for a position player. Sure, Zambrano can hit, but he's a lot better at pitching.
