It makes sense, of the quintet of bats at Iowa Caissie is the guy likely most able to step in and take a job from jump on opening day.  At the same time he's got the toughest short term path to everyday at bats.

I will say, given that it looks like the club isn't prioritizing adding a power bat trading the guy at Iowa with the most power does feel like it comes with particula potential to blow up in our faces.

From an illogical stand point, Owen Caissie has been my pet project since pre-draft. Having him debut with the Cubs would be a personal win for me and I matter most in the world. 

From a logical stand point, there's enough flaws in his game and a lack clear playing time...I can see why he'd be a guy the Cubs could or would move.

Ahh I hate this even if there's logic behind it.  Been obviously following him as the one hopeful piece of the Darvish for teenagers trade.  Would hate to turn around and trade him right before he gets to the majors.
