He retired after the 2021 season.  In spite of spending his life playing baseball, I find it really hard to believe he has the experience and knowledge necessary to run a front office already.  Best of luck but this feels like a desperation move by the Giants.

The 2021 season literally accounts for all 36 of those, for whatever that is worth.

Yeah, i intentionally left that part out, and the fall from that season to the last 3 is obviously a huge part of the reason for change. 

 

But it's a fun juxtaposition when it seems like Jed's job has never been considered in jeopardy even when having basically the same results
