A topic keeps getting unmarked as read

I have marked the site's news article about the Shota Imanaga signing as read approximately 50 times over the last few days, but whenever I go back to the list of unread content, it's still sitting at the top. Unsure how to fix it.

Anyone else have this issue? I've never seen it pop up for me, though I don't use the discover page often.
