Issues with viewing forum topics

Are you having issues with viewing some or all forum topics? Do me a favor: try a different browser and see if that works. I'm trying to isolate the problem but cannot replicate it from my end; knowing whether a different browser cures the problem will steer me toward it being a local caching issue on your machine or a potential error in a site instance.

If you can, post here with any information.

I have this problem today on Safari for iphone and ipad but not on a macbook.  DuckDuckGo doesn’t appear to have the problem on iphone(can check other devices later if needed)

Okay, thanks. Are you getting a "Sorry" message or an error with a long series of code and links? I'm seeing two different issues, I think I have one of them resolved but want to be sure.

I'm having an issue at home, on my desktop, with Edge.  Some threads (not all) are coming up with an error.

No code or links.  Two example threads that are consistently giving the error are the "Lets talk about the weather" thread in social and the "Technology Chit-Chat" thread.

 

On the other hand, the NBA thread in Other Sports works fine.

When I click on the NBA thread it takes me to forums/topic/51161-2023-nba-offseason-thread/

However when I click on the weather thread, it jumps to forums/topic/46184-should-we-talk-about-the-weather-hi-hi-hi/page/38/#comment-3817218


I opened Chrome, which I've never signed into NSBB with since the switchover.  I got this message when going to the forum page...

I signed in, and got the same message until I clicked on the "forums" at the top again.

In Chrome, everything seems to be working fine from there.  The threads I couldn't reach in Edge seem to be working now.

Oh, just noticed an error code in smaller print on that first error...

Error code: EX0

Same behavior that Banedon is describing, including the EX0 error code.  I also tried Firefox on iOS and get the same problem.

Okay, that helps. I’ve forwarded this on to the software expert and hopefully he sees wtf is going on here because I’m not seeing it.

Not working on chrome or safari on the iPhone for some threads. Getting EXO error

Okay, a fix has been deployed. Given that we can't test it from this side of things (because we can't see the error), please confirm whether it's fixed for you.

Initial impression is that I can reach threads I couldn't before.  Will let you know here if something comes up at all today.

Same, yesterday's game thread was a no go on mobile but seems to work now.
