9/10 Stro show skipped the 2nd inning

Stro gives up 4 in the 2nd inning. Last year he allowed 4+ ER 4 times in 33 starts. This year 6 times in 21 starts. He’s also been extremely good at other times this year but need a little more consistency from him next year.

Newcomb is so frustrating to watch. Kind of like Maples. kind of like Chattwood. He has great stuff but throws both bad strikes and balls.

What am I missing? Looks like he’s thrown 3 innings of 1 hit, 0 walk ball. Or are you contrasting this with times where he is wild

Yes. He looked really good today.

Stro a bit unlucky today. Had his third lowest exit velocity of the year. The HR was a monster shot, as was a double. Not much else.
