Who on the biscuits should I pay attention to?

Curtis Mead, Greg Jones, Blake Hunt, Kameron Misner.

You missed Taj Bradley who was their SP yesterday and probably is Tampa’s best pitching prospect in the minors.

Jenson sitting 95 max 97 in the first with a wicked 83 mph change. He walked the 1st batter who stole 2nd and 3rd. Struck out the next and walked the 3rd, getting squeezed. Jenson is really getting squeezed in this inning. Struck out two. He was overpowering.

The guy who stole 2nd and 3rd is Greg Jones, one of Tampa’s better prospects.

Thanks for the velo readings.

Top of 2 the Smokies scored another run. Morel has seen 4 pitches in two ABs.

Bottom of 2. Jenson struck out the first batter on 97 gas up in the zone, walked the second batter. The third hit a weak side grounder for a DP.

First hit for the Biscuits in the third on a hard grounder past third with two outs. Followed by a HR then a double. Jenson has been a bit wild with a lot of deep counts. Hr was on a high fast ball. Jenson still sitting 95.

Amazingly the ump who was squeezing in the beginning of the game has now opened up the zone for both sides. Really inconsistent zone.

And we’re in extra innings. 2-2. Not much going on Misener has stuck out a couple of times for the Biscuits in key situations.

My overall impression. Jenson looked really good. He mostly worked up in the zone and it cost him in the third. He definitely dominated the Biscuits outside of two high fastballs that got smacked.

The bats were nothing to note. No one really worked a count. A lot of early swings and weak contact.

We had a great time as a family. This is really the first time in two years we’ve left the house.

It’s supposed to rain the rest of the weekend so I’m not sure much baseball will be played.
