College Football - Week 6 (Oct. 9)

I know no one cares, but I'm still salty about the backup QB for PSU. Comes in and goes 7/21, 34 YDS, 2 INT. Overthrew several open receivers, and just acted super panicked the whole time. This is an indictment on either the coaching staff for not giving the backups enough reps, or on the recruiters for not having a viable backup option on the roster.

There is not much worse in sports fan world than watching your team's chances in a big game go down in flames because the QB is just lost.

They probably deserve it being undefeated but Oklahoma is not the 3rd best team in the country.

 

Georgia again showing they’re the dominant team in CFB.

In the AP Cincinnati is rated ahead of Oklahoma as they should be. PSU also stayed ahead of Michigan as voters likely gave them a mini pass for what happened after Clifford went out.

First of all, I’ve never heard of any Battle of the Sheep. That’s not an A&M thing. As far as the first video, the Yell Leaders have always been quite embarrassing to many Aggies. I’ve been sent this video so many times already this week. The Corps, which Yell Leaders are almost always part of despite being elected, do all kinds of dumb horsefeathers. Last I heard they make up about 5% of the student body but that’s when we were around 40K. I think it’s over 60K now and I guarantee the Corps didn’t grow by 50%. I went to Yell Practice less than 5 times in my three years there and that was mainly because everyone at the party I was at wanted to go. I was much more interested in trying to float the keg.

Fair enough. Let me try to simplify it. Most Aggies shake their heads at the dumb horsefeathers the boys in painted overalls do. We're not really interested in trying to justify it to non-Aggies as that is not the norm at A&M.
