The dumb Reds ALWAYS talk about Happ loving that "hometown hitting". It's like they can't just be happy with their own team, they have to appropriate every Ohio-born player on other teams

 

Before that homer, Happ had a .349/.457/.783/1.240 line at GAB. Maybe they'll take him off our hands?

Hilarious to me that Rizzo, Baez, Bryant et al struggled so mightily this year, while Ortega, Schwindel and Chirinos are all above .300 average and are just smacking extra base hits all over the place

Yep. As a member of Team ‘why not go for it next year’…dropping 80%+ of your games for 2 months makes that path a little tougher to justify. Good to see signs of life from Happ, a couple pieces from the bullpen, etc.
