Should we be paying attention to Perlaza? He's holding up decently well at SB, he's still age appropriate, and he was a big $ IFA signing.

Should we be paying attention to Perlaza? He's holding up decently well at SB, he's still age appropriate, and he was a big $ IFA signing.

Of course. I mean, he shouldn't be ignored. He's likely not going to make any top 30 lists unless he keeps improving his slash, but he doesn't turn 23 until November, and he's hitting well in an age appropriate level. I doubt he has starter ceiling unless there's a Contreras-like breakout in the works, but that's highly unlikely. A bench bat who can fill in at 2B, 3B, LF and 1B is still possible.
