Maybin Back on MiLB Deal

Hard to see a path for him to make the opening day roster with Ervin and Marisnick, as they have more clear attributes to help the team. But glad they brought him back and he seems like a really good culture guy at least. Hopefully there’s a way for him to be on the MLB roster at some point.

Yeah this is fine with me. If he's willing to hang in AAA for a bit then that's cool. Surprised he signed somewhere with no clear path to playing time, let alone on the MLB roster but I like the depth.

 

Also Maybin is still just 33 and I don't understand.

Hopefully we are able to keep Ervin and he doesn’t get claimed. Liked his fit more for the roster than Maybin and would’ve rather just cut Maples, Norwood or some horsefeathers RP.
