Dumb comment? The Illini haven't had a winning record since 2011, and that was 7-6. What's incorrect about pointing out that they have been bad for many years in a row?

 

FTR, I wasn't using factual accuracy as the barometer as to whether both were dumb (both are 100 percent accurate). It was the context and interjection points that made them dumb.

They have no excuse for settling on coaches. As I said, they have the same cut of Big 10 money as OSU or Michigan, but they act like a "small market team". Why?

It was a high risk/high reward move but given his salary, it was not a small market move.

 

It was the wrong move but not a cheap one.
