The Cubs only have 1 series win this year against teams over .500 that aren't based in St Louis. 1-7-1 with that win being against LA in early April. I know that doesn't mean anything really at all but it'd be nice to feel good about winning a tough series for once.

I don't know. You're really freaking out. Despite the Cubs making everyone miserable, the Cardinals have been no better -- even after winning 35 games in a row. They aren't a team to quake in your boots over. It's going to be a close race. But I don't know why you are freaking out now.
