Joe thinks they are playing like the first-half Cubs again. Let's hope they cut it out.

Rizzo might have pulled a Duker. The Cubs are 2-5 since he proclaimed they were fixed.

Joe seems to be frustrated lately. He's normally a "everything in fine, no worries" kind of guy but lately he's been pretty critical in pointing out issues the team is having

He's just upset that his boy Trump is having a bad week.

He's got his hometown pissed off at him:

Cubs manager Joe Maddon declined to apologize to residents of his hometown and said his words were taken out of context in an editorial criticizing Maddon's remarks about the growing Hispanic population in Hazleton, Pa.

According to the Times Leader newspaper in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., a few Hazleton residents expressed displeasure with Maddon's comments during a recently aired interview with NBC News correspondent Harry Smith on "Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly."

"They're going to save our town," Maddon said in the interview of the influx of Hispanic residents. "You have two options right here: Either you get on board and help us as we're moving this thing along, or you're going to die.

"And when you die and go away, you're going to get out of the way. You're not going to be a part of the problem anymore. So it's either help or die."

One resident was quoted as calling Maddon "full of himself," and another said: "That was terrible. I hate him. I hope he doesn't win one game."

THE HAZLETON CURSE IS BORN.

So as soon as he wins a game the curse is broken? Man, that resident made it way too easy.

Cubs reliever Koji Uehara left Tuesday's game with a stiff neck while Hector Rondon wasn't available due to a bad back. Neither ailment is considered serious. Rondon should be available on Wednesday.

He already won one game since the curse was announced.
