aramis ademan hit his 4th home run for eugene. he's hitting well, with a .279/.348/.434/.783 line coming into tonight. all of this is great news, because he's only 18 and it would make me really happy to have another aramis on the cubs.

 

ian rice hit two home runs and may be our best prospect at this point.

Yes!

 

Ademan has been a pleasant surprise with the bat thus far. He's certainly a slick fielder and will stick at SS. With him, Paredes, Amaya and Albertos, that's a nice core of 18-year-olds for the Cubs to rebuild their farm system around. Of course, there's still 11 days to go before the trade deadline...

Renato Nunez hit an eventual GW HR off Maples. Dillon did strike out 2 in the inning but he threw 25 pitches.

 

Hudson just gave up his first hit in the 6th inning. SB made an error but he had finished 5 hitless in 50 pitches. 10 GO.

 

DJ homered again.
