That must have been so good for Kyle, you could tell how happy he was when he got to home.

I know these things don't exist, but I hope that's a "turning point" moment for him and the team. (They don't exist because the last home stand felt like that anyway)

Normally I wouldn't think there is anything to it. And it's a very good chance there isn't here either. But for Kyle, I think his problem lately has been in large part due to him losing confidence. Early on, he was really unlucky. And he was still hitting the ball hard, and taking good ABs. But the last week or two, he's been completely out of sync -- taking bad swings, chasing pitches, and generally just looking lost. He's definitely never been in a funk like this ever in his life. So you know it's been eating at him. And it's destroying him every time he goes up to the plate.

If it's not a mechanical issue or anything, and he's just in the dumps, there's not much better for a jolt in confidence than that.

I especially liked the "long stare into the Cardinals dugout" afterward (call by Len). I hope he give Pederson or whomever it was on the Dodgers in sprinter position the same stare after a pickoff (or just quits while he's ahead).

The Cardinal butt hurt. Still funny.

Haha, I posted that 2nd tweet earlier, but it the first one is better can you can hear McCarver..."that's all right it's worth it".

How the horsefeathers is it worth it getting your guy picked off first base?? haha!

Yeah, I've tried decoding that nugget. Maybe he thinks Lester is now forced to throw over more often? And will go to pieces under the pressure? Maybe, he looked at it as adding one to Lester's pitch count and was happy about that? In all likelihood, he's just an idiot who watched something blow up in his teams face and defended their red ass moron manager, because he blindly agrees with whatever they do.
