Almora in, Baez out. Why Maddon didn't do this is perplexing.

 

Yeah. The only thing I can think of, and it's a stretch, is that he wants Javy's tagging ability to help limit the running game even more. The Pirates do seem like a team with enough speed to try to take advantage of Lester.

Yeah, they were running the first two games of the series too.

I can envision Theo trying to trade Javy at this very moment so Maddon will finally play his Scott Hatteberg.
