So, now we are out of the top 3 and have the Jets and Bengals to contend with for top 5. Anyone know who wins the tie breakers with those teams?

Edit: nevermind, Bengals are winning their 4th game, so that's good.

Yeah and the Bengals really have like 4.5 wins because of tie.

First tiebreaker for draft position is lower SOS gets the higher pick

Where is SOS easily accessible?

Well between Floyd, Howard, and Whitehair it looks like Pace had a pretty damn good draft. Kwiatkoski, Bullard, and Hall have also flashed at times.

Yep. And at least we have Goldman from 2015.

On the other hand, if White can even manage to find any role in a WR rotation at this point, I'll consider it a success. Oh well.

And I agree on Hall. I like him.

He's played well considering he has had an O-Line pretty much consisting of backups, and a bunch of scrap heap WRs. And yesterday's conditions were not great for a QB. I don't necessarily *think* he will end up an above average NFL starter but I think he should be in our plans to some extent.

That said, I really hope it doesn't persuade the Bears to not draft a QB towards the top of the draft.

Training camp invite with Connor Shaw, who looked good in the preseason. Winner gets the 3rd QB job. But the Bears should have 2 QBs better than both of them.

Eh, I wouldn't be sad if they went into next season starting Barkley with a early draft rookie such as Kizer and a 3rd somebody

He would need to play the next 4 games at a relatively high level for me to say that.

If you're going to go ahead and spend that early 1st on a QB, and you aren't bringing Cutler back. Then why the hell not start the season with Barkley? Maybe Barkley and Hoyer.

Well I wouldnt want two vets if they keeping 3 QBs. So it would be Hoyer or Barkley for me. Possible cost considerations aside, I'd still go Hoyer right now.

I mean going into training camp, not the season.

But I'd want two vets as a buffer to prevent them from putting a rookie out with these teammates.

To protect the rookie?

He thinks the line is terrible and the rest of the offense (especially if and when Alshon leaves) IS terrible and I think he doesn't want to ruin the rookie with that.

Yes, I have no interest in drafting a QB top 4 and throwing him out there with this team/coaching staff/offense.

I'd just rather not draft a QB in the 1st round anyway. So volatile.

horsefeathers pitchers...I mean first round QBs.

agreed

forced QB selections that have no business going that high on their own merit is how you turn into the Cleveland Browns. Spend your high picks on elite players. Find a decent QB to play with that team of elite players.

I don't disagree with that. If we pick a QB that high though, hopefully he is skilled enough that we shouldn't be worried about ruining him. If thats not the case, yes were back to the point that we forced a QB pick.
