A Bears fan has no ground to start talking horsefeathers, especially right after losing at home to the Jaguars. He should especially avoid repeatedly yelling “Go horsefeathers yourself” to any Jaguars fans that he sees.

On the other side of that coin, a Jaguars fan should take the high ground in the presence of a misguided heckler, and silently enjoy a 2-3 record. None of this happened, of course. The Jaguars fan engaged the horsefeathers-talking Bears fan; the Bears fan punched the Jaguars fan; and the Jaguars fan’s two friends chose to defend their shitty team by beating up the guy in the headband and Matt Forte jersey

Well if we're losing regardless who's under center, I'll take the more exciting of the two QBs.

Give Jay a chance to end his Bears tenure on a somewhat respectable note (as respectable as possible at this point, anyway).

That Bears fan is the worst.

This video perfectly captures why I have no interest in going to Bears/NFL games anymore. Two dopes getting into a fist fight over different colored shirts.

I've come to the conclusion that football [expletive] sucks.

It's a sport run by garbage people and played by garbage people for garbage people.

In a stunning upset, hockey has now overtaken it on my depth chart.

away games don't sound appealing to me at all anymore, outside of probably Charlotte, only because I'm always with a large group of Carolina fans so I tend to get ignored

I mean, that happens at every sporting event at some point but it's incredibly easy to go to an opposing team's stadium with your team's clothing and avoid anything remotely close to a fight. Those were just two idiots that went into the day with a desire to fight. If you aren't like that, that won't happen.

It's also not a "anymore" type situation, since stupid drunk fans fighting is a tale as old as time.

It's an "anymore" type situation for me since I used to attend games, but no longer do. It's more that I don't want to deal with it anymore, not that things have actually changed at the games.

I know this stuff happens to an extent at many sporting events, but my anecdotal experience is that things get way more out of hand at NFL games. I've seen plenty of people who are minding their own business become the target of some drunk knuckle-dragger at a Bears game. YMMV.
