Gotta like what Erling Moreno has been able to do this season after missing most of his first two seasons due to TJS.

 

He pitched 62.1 innings in his first full (short season league) year. At 19, he performed quite well in the NWL limiting hitters to a .150 BAA and walking just 5 in 30 innings. He may start there again next year with all the incoming college pitchers from this year's draft, but he's got a shot to join South Bend's rotation as a 20-year-old. He seems like a right-handed Carson Sands to me. Good size at 6'3", 200 lbs. Not a ton of velocity but seems to have good control and knows how to keep people off the bases. He's got a shot at becoming a decent BOR. Let's hope he doesn't implode like Sands did...
