i'm feeling super old right now physically but that's mainly because, for some reason, i decided it was a good idea to start going to the gym again this week and now i'm sore as [expletive].

you gotta ease back into that my brother.

I always [expletive] overdo it. Never learn.

I keep telling myself I want to start another round of P90X but those first few weeks will be awful so I don't

I miss not feeling like I was dying, but, on the other hand, I love crankily judging things.

I'd like to wake up in the morning sometime and not feel stiff/sore.

That's been a big part of me getting back into shape; I find myself trying to run or ride a bike or pretty much anything like I could 5-10 years ago and basically every time it's a big, "whoa, OK, can't do THAT like I used to."

I just went to CVS and spent at least 5 minutes comparing sale prices on toothpaste. I was THIS close to saying "hey, that's a good deal!" out loud when I finally settled on one. The old lady an aisle over muttering to herself didn't seem quite as crazy as she did before.

I've always found CVS a bit pricey, even on their generic items.

Costco/Sam's is the best place to buy toiletries. A gallon of toothpaste price per unit is ridiculously low.

Yeah, but barely any selection. I shop at Costco plenty, but usually go elsewhere for toiletries.

Like I get there's certain shampoo that will slow down balding and receding hairlines. And maybe special toothpaste meant for aging gums.

But outside of that, the toilet paper, soap, body wash, mouthwash, lotion, face wash, shaving, and floss brands at wholesale clubs are completely competent.

I'm actually a Sam's Club member because it's right around the corner.

But I prefer Costco. Better generics, nicer employees, and they actually treat their employees well with good pay and benefits. I just wish it wasn't a 20 minute drive.

sams doesn't have my shave gel, deodorant (actually, i'm pretty sure they only have anti perspirant, which i hate) or mouthwash, but i get toothpaste and shower stuff there Edited by David

My dad is the kinda guy who will comfortably custom order a BMW from germany because they don't make manual transmission 3 series in the states anymore but then he only buys the prison grade 1/2 ply toilet paper. It blows my mind how arbitrary his parsimonious ways are.

I trust him still, but he skimps hard on toilet paper.
