Damn there have been some walk off hits but that might have been the AB of the season. Current storyline = Mets own Cubs. Nothing nothing game, base open, Matz hits Bryant.

Ok, Rizzo is going to grind you down with 10 pitches then hammer the ball into the stands for three runs. Since then two batters have drilled the ball.

Let's hope some of the sheen is off the Mets now. sweep these fools.

Knew he was out as soon as he turned for home. Cespedes is too good at that horsefeathers.

Ps don't mind the send call or anything

Easy, my friend. Let's just focus on them winning this one first.

such a dumb send with him in LF

no.

yes. he's got a cannon for an arm, the ball was hit pretty sharply, and he was playing shallow. nothing about that says there's a decent shot at scoring.

2 outs, Contreras has good wheels, and the ball was not hit all that sharply(or at the very least, caught the SS's glove). The odds of scoring there are way higher than the AVG/OBP of the next hitter.

some of you guys are hilariously results oriented.

no horsefeathering way do i want a guy on 2nd being held on a 2 out basehit so that you rely on albert almora to get a hit. i would've been screaming at my tv had he stopped him.

Has anyone [expletive] up the ivy thing?

Julio Zuleta

Oh yes, the memorable 2000 season.

I just clearly remember watching him dig through the ivy one game while everyone on the other team rounded the bases about 6 times before he threw his hands up

Agree with everything. Except Willson having good wheels. Is that true? I assume he's still more slow than fast.
