Anyone want to write about the farm?

Duke is setting a very high bar for front page content and I'm doing my best to live up to that. Anyone want to take on writing about the farm?

There are a bunch of ideas on content here:

 

- daily / weekly recaps

- player profiles

- weekly / monthly look at how prospects are moving in the rankings

- statistical analysis

- draft coverage

- digging into the org philosophy on development

- etc.

 

We used to have pretty good relationships with most of the farm teams, though most of them have changed over since those days. If people live near the parks, we can almost certainly get media credentials again. I'd love to get photos of the players, too.

 

It's an unpaid position, but I encourage people to get an adsense account and embed an ad or two in their articles.

I am absolutely devastated by the fact that the Eugene Emeralds are now a Cubs affiliate. I used to live in Eugene, which would have made me the perfect (and likely only) candidate to do some basic stuff like game recaps, etc.
