Raisin, thanks again for kicking off another year. Like many, these threads were the reason I started lurking NSBB back in the days in Ryan Harvey and Brian Dopirak.

Agreed. While it's really nice that this is no longer my first stop on NSBB, the effort by the main few of you has been amazing over the years, and it'll be good to follow this as a nice side dish to the main course.

Edwards with a line of 1.0 IP 0 R 1h 1bb 2k. One of the strikeouts was Gallo and he only threw 11/22 for strikes, so not the best outing to start the season.

And the first Cubs minor league home run of the year comes from... Chesny Young, of course.

Doubling his career minor league total in the process. Adding any kind of power would make him fairly interesting given his versatility and plate discipline.

It was an exhibition game on Wednesday, but that makes 8 PAs without a K for Ian Happ to begin the season. No hits or BBs, either, but I'll take the no K's at this point.
