So, Ricketts bought the team for $800M, now worth $2.2B. Add in the $600M they're spending on ballpark improvements and you're at $800M in equity plus whatever profit they've made the past 5 years, let's say $200M and you're looking at $1B before-tax profit if they sold the team tomorrow, even if they funded the remaining construction. Not bad.
