So, we do playoff teams in order of elimination; where they were tied on elimination we then use record and then points, right?

 

In the East, hips lost in round 1 (14-9), dealers (15-9) lost in round 2 and adam won it all

In the west, Quakers lost in round 1 (11-12), nsbb (18-5) lost in round 2 and the process lost in round 3.

For the newbies...We tried for years to get everyone online at the same time for the draft and it never quite worked out. So we do an extended draft where you get up to 24 hours to pick. But try to be as quick as possible when you're up or we may run past opening day!

Is the deadline for the rosters tonight at midnight or tomorrow at midnight?

Looks like several teams aren't going to make the deadline, including most of the guys we haven't heard from all offseason. Raisin and Truffle said they were both in but their rosters aren't done (raisin has 3 guys in the minors that can't be there).

 

I don't have time to go thru all those rosters but the draft starts on Monday and we still may not be done by opening day. So I'll start chopping up rosters at noon Pacific tomorrow. Do I just use my best guess as to who should be kept? If anyone wants to post suggestions, that'd be great. Hope all these teams are actually planning on playing this year.

Adam, Chuck, and Todd have full rosters that need to be pared down. Todd has totally ignored everything this off-season and has had no presence here but somehow was able to execute a massive trade with Tim in which he got royally fucked. I need a really good reason not to veto that trade.

 

Deven - Beckham exceed 200 ABs last year, so you have 11 keepers. If you don't make a different change, I'm going to drop him from your roster.

 

Bob- you have 2012 points (Pollack, Goldie, Longoria, Shields). You need to make a change ASAP or I'll have to drop one of these guys from your roster.

honestly, the trade is mostly fine without the #1 pick added on top; that's what should be vetoed and it wouldn't really disrupt anything

Hm, I guess. A guy with Sano at Util trades for Prince, who is also limited to Util? It makes no sense. Kluber is a great pitcher, but he's not worth taking on the broken remains of Holliday and Prince.

It would be really unfair to completely veto the trade at this point when I can't pursue other things. If you want to "fix" the trade, I'm okay with that. Use Dozier instead of Prince and make the mlb draft pick a third rounder.

I texted both Todd and Chuck to get their rosters set. As for whether Todd is coming back, I know he was pissed about the commentary about the trade. I asked him whether he's going to come back.

I could veto the trade but it's hard to at this point. At minimum, the draft pick should be returned.

 

If Todd is really pissed that we'd question why he'd want 2 of his 10 keepers to both be Utility only eligibility, then ok.
