Pretty sure nothing in sportsdom (any sport, any team, ever) gives me chills more than this video...

That one's in Milwaukee! We didn't get a "Hey! Hey!" call as it was Lou doing the call but we did get both a "Holy Mackerel!" and a "No doubt about it!" on this legendary Kingman blast.

And just in case that call made your mind harken back to another classic...

and if you watch carefully, you'll see where Heyward got hurt (4:50).

I don't know, he looked like he hit the wrist more when diving at 9:09 and Len even comments that he hopes he's alright

Yeah I remembered that after I posted this. That dive I posted might have aggravated it...sure didn't look like a smooth landing for his wrist.

Gotta go up on the anniversary. I forget about some of the movement on those pitches.

There is so much stuff on Cubs Youtube these days. Not as much old stuff but tons of stuff from 2014 and 2015. Pretty much any decent Cubs power hitter has an "All 2015 HRs in order" video out there.

But I wanted to post this one, extended replays of all the Cubs walkoffs last year. My favorite part about this (other than Strop running down the line with Bryant) is that at the beginning of the year, a lot of the walkoffs were bloops, bloopers and seeing eye singles. And then sometime around July the Cubs decided '[expletive] this we are just going to dong our way into walk off wins' and then every single walk off the rest of the year was on a dong.

2015 Walkoff standings:

Castro - 3

Denorfia - 2

Bryant - 2

Alcantara - 1

Russell - 1

Ross - 1

Montero - 1

SzczurMarte - 1

Coghlan - 1

What struck me was how many walkoffs we had with the bases loaded, tie game situations. I counted 6, including the first 4 of the year.

I only watched the first couple of minutes so far and I almost feel bad about how much the Reds are featured... almost.

Seriously though how great is technology?

When I was in high school in the late 90s, once you saw a game and the sportscenter highlights the next day, you would pretty much never see it again. Now I can quickly queue up a video of every Cubs home run in an entire season spliced together seamlessly.

ha, miguel montero had the first and last homeruns of the regular season

I think it was shortly after his 1st one when I thought for sure the team would go 162-0

I think oddly the best i felt about the cubs all year was that first blowout of Arizona. I was like "this is what we envisioned in the offseason and it's actually real."
