Trevor Cahill returns to Cubs

I'm a big fan of this move. Just another solid, shrewd decision. Low risk, potentially significant reward.

Very happy to see this. Cahill looks like a bargain as a reliever, he's not so far from removed from starting that he can be a 7th/8th/9th rotation option in a pinch, and maybe most importantly, his signing puts the current payroll at 134 million or so. While it's possible that the Cubs are going to do address CF, possibly add another pitcher like they've said, and then commence a great sell off of contracts to make the money work, occam's razor suggests that the 130 million floated by some media types is not the reality of the situation.
